I think it is a good step that the Slovak Republic is taking regarding the smoking ban in the listed public areas. It is a step toward better social understanding and will only bring about positive results. At first it will be hard, but if the people really want to better their country and the health of their citizens, they will accept it and move even further with it. I live in Canada where we were a little bit more extreme with the bans. However, I am glad; I find that people are happier here and more and more are quitting.
