Well done, Levice! It is nice to see common sense triumphing now and again.
I can understand why towns wanted to change their main streets from Leninova to Hlavná. But changing every street name with a socialist connotation would be an administrative nightmare. Not to mention, just a bit daft.
Trying to wipe out every trace of Slovakia's socialist past is trying to deny what Slovakia actually was for 50 years. It's trying to deny Slovakia's history.
