I taught ESL in Slovakia from 1995 to 2000. The fact that I taught there for over five years gives me some credibility in saying that Slovakia is a great place to work (relatively speaking).
Sure there are frustrations and cultural differences to overcome, but this pales in comparison to the people, places, and experiences one can have there. Slovaks on the whole are great people whose hospitality rivals any culture.
I am now living back home in Canada but followed the elections carefully - GREAT RESULTS EH!!!! Good for Slovakia that the SDKÚ and SMK will remain in power. Do toho Slovensko!
