Re: One dead and two seriously injured after suspected neo-Nazi attacks, Flash News, November 7, 2005
Karl, I don't get the impression that Bratislava is any worse than other towns of its size, though the report indicated neo-Nazis are a problem.
I have never encountered an ugly situation in Bratislava. In my location in London I fairly frequently come across blue police tape, which usually means someone has been killed. At a party a few houses away from me recently, a 15-year-old girl was stabbed to death by a 16-year-old girl, the reason being that the 15 year old stood on the toes of the 16 year old.
In London we have little trouble at the moment from neo-Nazis, the problem is more intercultural strife. It seems that neo-Nazis are more of a problem in Central Europe, and perhaps also Holland.
We do not live in a stable Europe, as we see currently in France.
