I like this budget because I think everybody got what they deserved. I don't think the new member states behaved any better than the old members, but at the same time, no worse.
The characteristic of the negotiations seemed to me to be of every state fighting hard purely for their own advantage, including the new states. I think that is sad but at least I think a fair compromise has been reached under the circumstances.
