Farewell Tom. All I knew of you came from second- and third-hand stories and what I read by you here. But it was enough. I respect what you did with this newspaper and I will miss your voice here. I remember the first issue of the Spectator (and I remember thinking that it had no chance of survival), and I marvel at what you and a hard-working, creative staff made of it.
I don't think I have missed reading (either on paper or online) very many editions over the years. Good luck and thank you for the staff you are leaving behind.
