Re: Fighting prejudices, By Lukáš Fila, June 21 - 27, Vol 10, No 22
The Ambassador should realise that he's trying to create a rapprochement between cats and dogs. While cats (Magyars) like to stray into unknown lands, dogs (Slovaks) are fiercely territorial. Both have their redeeming characteristics and both have their vices. Once again, The Slovak Spectator is trying to use American logic to determine why both parties are at each other's throats. In my honest opinion, these cultural institutions should find a different call to arms, and only then will these elementary school debates go away.
