I've had a full spa treatment in Piešťany, and every bit of it was wonderful except the massage, which was done by a malevolent 'Nazi' who beat me to pieces. She should have paid ME to let her get off on the torture routine! But I loved the mineral baths, the mud stuff, and getting wrapped up in a dozen blankets. The only truly strange thing was walking naked from room to room, passing a variety of men and women, also naked.
