Poor, elderly most likely to bribe doctors, Volume 11, Number 17, May 2 - May 8, 2005
The number of people involved in bribing doctors is very high. It's very sad, and it is always poorer people who have to resort to this sort of thing just to get the medication they need for their ailments.
I think we should go after the criminal politicians who continuously line their pockets at the expense of the man and woman on the street.
But while we are at it, let the powers that be create a better system to take care of the infirm and elderly who are at the mercy of the state.
Also let's give those people who worked for years and years credit for their earnings so that they can get a pension within the new system.
Right now it is the case that people who were working for low and minimum wages before the introduction of the new pension system are not qualified for any pension, because they made so little wages while working.
What are they to do for their later years?
