The company I'm associated with did have plans to expand its workforce in Bratislava until we realized how difficult it was to get people with the right skills for the jobs we currently have.
We have a minority of people who have the right skills who are just moving from company to company collecting their annual 10 to 20 percent pay increases and leaving us to eventually become uncompetitive.
That is why we shelved plans to expand our site in Bratislava and set up in Eastern Germany instead.
