Television stations are airing plenty of shows to collect money for those in need and themselves collect a lot of money for commercials. Marketing bureaus earn on the poster campaigns, newspapers on ads and so on.

I have donated whatever I feel I could spare and that's it. It is terrible, but to be honest I cannot put myself in their position, hence cannot feel their hearts filled with grief. And it wouldn't help them anyway if I were grieving.

Life must go on and as the leader of the Red Cross's international section in Denmark said on TV, "First of all, they must be helped to help themselves. After that, it is their own responsibility. It is their catastrophe, they must decide what is next."
