I read this article twice and I am still confused as to why Majský was released.
If the authorities were able to keep him in jail for 22 months, then what are a few more months in jail until the trial, which I believe is soon to start?
They are taking a chance on him skipping the country. And if he does, there goes all that time wasted for almost two years. Not to mention the expense the government has spent, and the hours pursuing the case. I still don't get it. Would someone please enlighten me?
