If you go somewhere to do nothing except concentrate on your health, whether it is recovery from a sports injury, a car accident, or just stress, a spa will help you.

For example, someone who works in a factory and gets repetitive stress syndrome, or has a bad boss and gets so stressed out that it shows up in physical symptoms which doctors cannot pinpoint the cause of or cure with a pill - a visit to a spa is almost certain to help.

Spa treatment deals with the psychological as well, because you are going away to a place where trained professionals will take care of you.
