It is just ridiculous that the Slovaks have to go through this visa procedure, which is, in my view, completely unnecessary.
As an American, I have to say, I am embarrassed by the situation and can completely understand the frustration of my Slovak friends.
I know how difficult it is to bring a life partner to the states to visit my family. I do not understand why Slovaks are treated differently than Slovenians or Austrians.
