Re: Bratislava grows ever greener, By Martina Jurinová, Aug 16 - 22, Vol 10, 31

While in Bratislava this spring, I heard a rumour that there are plans to allow future hotels to be built over the banks of the Danube, which would destroy the beauty of the park and river walk in the area of the Botel Gracia. Is this true?

The rumours are correct. A leisure, commercial, and residential centre called River Park on the Danube bank is scheduled for completion two years from now. However, it will be located between the Nový Most and the Most Lafranconi bridges.
