READINESS reports on the new member states of the EU will be released on Thursday, the economic daily Hospodárske noviny wrote.
Slovakia is likely to be scorned for the situation of its Roma minority. The European Parliament's Green faction suggested that the EU is concerned about the recent unrest in eastern Slovakia's Roma community and it has said it is a result of the cabinet's economic policy and the continuing discrimination of the Roma.
The European Commission will continue to monitor the situation of the Slovak Roma, insisting that the state stops its discriminatory practices against the community.
