Parliament yesterday passed a Retail Chain Law on to second reading, with 84 of 106 present members voting in favour. The law seeks to require largely foreign supermarkets to carry a greater variety of products, and to guarantee a minimum of 70 per cent of Slovak-made products on their shelves.
