RIGIPS Slovakia, a subsidiary of the British-based BPB Group announced plans on Tuesday to invest Sk30 million (€770,000) to expand its operations in Trnava, the TASR news wire wrote.
The investment to buy the buildings now rented by Rigips from local entrepreneurs will be signed by John Colley, BPB director for Western and Central Europe, at an upcoming meeting of CE senior corporate managers.
Over a decade of doing business in Slovakia, Rigips, which employs 80 people in Trnava, has invested Sk65 million (€1.6 million) in the country and had a turnover of Sk539 million (€13.5 million) in the business year to March 31, a year-on-year rise of 30 percent.
BPB supplies plaster board, plaster insulation ceiling tiles and related products for interior linings.
