Mobile phone customers returning from overseas holidays could face an unpleasant surprise in the form of a huge bill for using their phones abroad, the Pravda daily reported.
The European Commission (EC) points out that prices for roaming are too dear, confusing and vary from company to company. According to the EC, roaming can cost from between 58 cents to €5 per minute.
The EU commissioner, Viviane Reding, plans to launch an Internet website on which the roaming prices of all operators will be published.
