The office of deputy PM Pál Csáky will retain responsibility for the Roma minority agenda, cabinet decided, rather than passing it on to the Culture Ministry. The proposed shift had been criticised by the EU, which said Slovakia needed continuity and resolve in dealing with the many problems facing the Roma.
