Romanian Foreign Minister Baconschi visits Slovakia

The Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teodor Baconschi, is visiting Slovakia on February 17 to meet with his Slovak counterpart Mikuláš Dzurinda and discuss bilateral relations and current European issues, the SITA newswire reported.

The European Framework Strategy on Roma Inclusion, enlargement of the EU and strategic security issues will be on their agenda, the press department of Slovakia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told SITA.

During his visit Baconschi will also attend the official opening of a joint exhibition of archival documents on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. The exhibition depicts key moments in the relations between Romania and the former Czechoslovakia and Slovakia in the form of archival documents and visual materials.
