According to Jana Pôbišová from the Interior Ministry, the police will look into whether any form of bribery or other crime has been committed. In addition, the Anti-Corruption Bureau must decide within 30 days whether to launch a criminal prosecution in this case.

"I received information that Rusko filed a complaint. Allegedly, somebody recently offered me Sk20 million (€513,000)", commented Elsner to the TASR news agency.

He denies that there is any case against him.

This is the second claim from Rusko relating to alleged corruption in parliament. Rusko made public a secret video recording of a meeting he had with former ANO MP Iveta Henzélyová, who left the party and became an independent MP.

On the tape, Henzélyová told Rusko that prior to the September session of parliament an unnamed group of people offered to pay for the reconstruction of her house in exchange for her support of the coalition in parliament.
