The Hospodárske noviny reported on September 27 that Pavol Rusko, the chairman and founder of the New Citizen Alliance (ANO) party, has decided to leave politics to focus on his business activities.
Rusko led the party to a place in parliament and the cabinet of the Dzurinda government during the previous election cycle, but the party’s popularity has since plummeted to just .4 percent.
