Economy Minister Pavol Rusko took along two celebrities of the private TV Markíza on his official trip to China, the daily Pravda wrote.
The Economy Ministry has not been able to explain why the celebrities were included in the official delegation.
Officials told the daily that meat-processing firm Tauris invited Kveta Horváthova and Štefan Skrúcaný on the trip. However, the firm’s representatives refused to explain the reason.
Rusko has been criticized for maintaining his influence in the private TV station even after formally selling his shares.
