When Russian gas supplies are restored via Ukraine, the gas in the standard flow will reach the border between Slovakia and the Czech Republic no sooner than in 50 hours, Jan Nehoda from RWE Transgas Net told TASR from Lanzhot, where the Czecho-Slovak compressor station is located.

"All of Slovakia's consumption should be covered (on January 20)," said Nehoda, adding that in addition to the five million cubic metres from Bratstvo, Slovakia will get another million cubic metres from Gaz de France. RWE Transgas will change the reverse flow (from west to east) back to standard flow (east to west) once the Russian gas reaches the compressor station in Lanzhot.

"We expect no technical problems," Nehoda told TASR.
