According to the minister, both countries have achieved considerable progress and reports of the assessment commission on both Romania and Bulgaria were better than the ones on Slovakia in 2006 when it was preparing for entry to the Schengen area. He added, however, that both countries still have to make some adjustments by the end of this year.
