It has been confirmed that the South Korean firm Samsung will build its new plant for the production of LCD flat screens in Slovakia. Slovak Economy Minister Ľubomír Jahnátek and Samsung Electronics President Sang Wan Lee will sign an investment memorandum between the Slovak government and the company on March 13, said the cabinet office's press department. It added that the Economy Minister will report on the investment at a press conference together with Prime Minister Robert Fico.
