THE SLOVAK Investment and Development Agency (SARIO), has finally found someone to take over as its director. Roman Kuruc, previously delegated as temporary director of the agency, is to get the appointment, the Hospodárske noviny daily reported.
Two previous rounds failed to reach a decision as to who should take the helm at SARIO. Although Kuruc had previously taken part in those rounds the Economy Ministry only authorized him as a temporary appointment.
According to Maroš Havran, spokesperson for the Economy Ministry, Economy Minister Pavol Rusko has already signed a decree nominating Kuruc for the position.
The last SARIO director was Ladislav Balko, who was in the post for just eight months. Following Balko, Ján Bajánek was temporarily authorized to manage the agency, then Roman Kuruc.
