A spokesman for the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) announced that the Slovak Economy Ministry is seeking a regular director general for SARIO, the news wire TASR has reported.

The requirements for the director general position include a university degree, at least eight years’ experience with foreign direct investments and economics, five years’ business managerial experience, and fluency in one world language, preferably English.

The post has been vacant since October 2003. SARIO is currently headed by Interim Director Roman Kuruc. After failing to successfully win the tender for SARIO director general in March 2004, Kuruc replaced former SARIO Interim Director Jan Bajánek. Under the currently legislation, Kuruc may remain as the agency’s interim director until October 1, 2004.
