Allegedly, Slovak actor Marián Labuda was involved in a car accident in the Czech Republic in which two women were killed. The highway was covered with snow when the accident happened. Labuda's car went into a skid and slammed into two women who were standing near the guard-rail after being in a similar mishap seconds earlier.

According a spokesperson, police are still investigating the accident in an effort to determine Labuda's culpability. More details will be published later today. The investigation will last several weeks. The accident happened 156 kilometres from Prague on the highway towards Bratislava. A woman driver is thought to have slammed into the guard-rail. Then she and a female passenger got out of the car and were walking along the highway, where they were struck by a car driven by Labuda.
