The Slovenské Elektrárne (SE) power utility has announced a public tender for projects relating to the closure of SE’s Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear plant. Slovakia has promised the EU to shut down the plant from 2006-2008 amid concerns over its safety, particularly in nuclear-free Austria.
Parties may submit plans to supply goods or services to the shutdown, and to draw money from a 170-million euro fund set up for the closure.
