Slovak airline company Seagle Air will most likely lose its license, private television channel Markíza reported on its evening newscast on Monday, December 7. The airlines announced in October that it is in financial trouble, the TASR newswire wrote.
The Transport, Posts and Telecommunications Ministry performed an inspection at the company and confirmed that it has found technical and financial shortcomings.
Seagle Air’s director declined to comment on the situation. At the same time, the company announced that it is negotiating with an unspecified investor in order to maintain its place in the market. The company said on October 22 that it is suspending all of its charter flights planned for the immediate future.
“The reason for this decision is that our Italian partner, Skyone Italy Airlines, hasn't fulfilled up to this moment the contract for the use of our planes for the flights from Italy," said the company. TASR
