THE MAJORITY of Slovak youth is dissatisfied with the job opportunities on offer here and is planning to leave the country to get work abroad. This is one of findings of a survey of young people aged 15-25, conducted online by GfK Slovakia in March, the SITA newswire reported.
More than one-third of young Slovaks have already worked abroad; and more than 50 percent of respondents explained that earning more money was the main attraction. They argued that equivalent work is better paid abroad. One-third of those polled wanted to improve their language skills and become acquainted with new people, cultures and traditions.
