The Slovak firm Slovenská Plavba a Pristavy (SPaP) filed suit against the Austrian state and the firm Donaukraftwerk AG in a Vienna court on October 21. SPaP alleges that the defendants were guilty of negligence in causing the sinking of the Slovak tugboat Ďumbier in 1996, which resulted in the deaths of eight Slovak sailors.
