Sixteen EU Member States have cheaper petrol than Slovakia

A recent decline in motor fuel prices has halted in several EU states. And according to internet portal natankuj.sk, Slovakia has dropped one spot in petrol price chart to the seventeenth position. As for diesel prices, the country maintained its twenty-sixth position. Bulgaria had the cheapest petrol with 95-octane petrol averaging of Sk32.43 (€1.076) per litre. It also led the diesel price chart, with an average price of Sk34.13 (€1.133) per litre. The average price of 95 octane petrol in Slovakia was Sk40.82 (€1.355) as of August 18; a litre of diesel cost Sk43.77 (€1.453) on average. SITA
