The Slovak Ambassador to Hungary, Juraj Migaš, visited the state secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Marta Fekszi to discuss the Slovak Parliament's resolution on inviolability of the Beneš Decrees, the documents on arrangement of the post-World War II situation in Czechoslovakia.
Fekszi requested the meeting to present presented the negative attitude of the Hungarian government to the Slovak resolution.
Migaš said he was surprised by the response this document caused at the official governmental level. He emphasized that the adopted resolution condemns the principle of collective guilt and confirms the inviolability of the post-World War II documents in Slovakia.
He asked whether the reaction of the Hungarian Government and other Hungarian political representatives was aimed to cast doubt on the post-war arrangement of Europe.
