Slovak and Hungarian foreign ministers meet in Brussels

Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajčák, held bilateral talks with his Hungarian counterpart, János Martonyi, on April l9 in Brussels with the SITA newswire reporting that each minister emphasised their country’s interest in developing good neighbourly relations and continuing a constructive dialogue between the two capitals.

A meeting of between the countries’ prime ministers, Slovakia's Robert Fico and Hungary's Viktor Orban, is scheduled for next week in Warsaw, SITA wrote.

A date for Lajčák's visit to Budapest, June 1, was also confirmed by the Foreign Ministry.
