Slovak biathlete wins Olympic bronze

SLOVAK biathletes have enjoyed great success at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver thanks to Pavol Hurajt winning a bronze medal in the men's biathlon mass start race on February 21.

SLOVAK biathletes have enjoyed great success at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver thanks to Pavol Hurajt winning a bronze medal in the men's biathlon mass start race on February 21.

Following the gold and the silver medals won by Anastasia Kuzmina, Hurajt has completed the medal set for Slovak biathlon athletes, the TASR newswire wrote.

The biathlon gold was won by Russian athlete Evgeny Ustyogov, while the silver medal went to Martin Fourcade from France. Hurajt, who lost by only 16.6 seconds, will be awarded a €25,000 prize from the Slovak Olympic Committee.
