Slovak brewery up for sale

TOPVAR Topoľčany, the third largest brewery in Slovakia is likely to be bought by the South African SABMiller corporation.

SABMiller already owns the Šariš brewery in Slovakia. The sale of the shares could be worth anything from between Sk400 million (€10.3 million) to Sk700 million (€18 million), bringing benefit to shareholders, management, employees and the town, the Pravda daily reports.
