Plans to establish a Museum on Communism in Bratislava are getting closer to being implemented, the SITA newswire wrote.

According to a decision by the cabinet proposed by Prime Minister Iveta Radičová, Culture Minister Daniel Krajcer and the head of the Government Office, Viktor Nižňanský, should elaborate a plan to establish such an institution before the end of August.

On June 28 Krajcer proposed the museum could be located in the former Hurbanove Kasárne barracks in the wider centre of Bratislava which is to be converted to a cultural space together with a design museum.
