Slovak Cabinet recalls Viliam Turský from state secretary post to appoint him minister

At its regular meeting on Wednesday, May 20, the Slovak cabinet recalled Viliam Turský from his current post as state secretary (deputy minister) at the Agriculture Ministry. Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič is expected to appoint him to the post of environment minister later on Wednesday.

Ján Slabý, who is currently an MP in the Slovak parliament for the Slovak National Party and heads the parliamentary agriculture and environment committee, will replace Turský as the state secretary from Thursday, the SITA newswire wrote. SITA
