Consumer prices in Slovakia rose by 0.8 percent in March year-on-year, according to data published by the Statistics Office on Monday, April 12.
Prices for alcohol and tobacco products rose most rapidly - by 6.9 percent year-on-year, followed by healthcare products (5.3 percent) growth and educational products (4.7 percent).
Conversely, prices of furniture, household equipment and common household maintenance fell by 4.2 percent, clothing and footwear by 2.2 percent and foodstuffs by 1.7 percent.
