Slovak currency on another high

The Slovak crown again reached a new high against the dollar Tuesday, settling at 28.46/50 SKK/USD.

The reason was that the dollar again eased against the euro to an historic low of 1.3641 USD/EUR.

The exchange rate of the Slovak currency against the euro moved in the narrow zone between 38.82-38.86 SKK/EUR.

The narrow band in which the crown fluctuated is explained by the
holiday in Britain with London dealers taking a break, according to Slovenská sporitelna dealer Vladimír Gajdoš.
