Slovakia’s economic sentiment indicator went up 0.7 to 92.6 percentage points in November the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic informed the SITA newswire.
Higher confidence in the retail sector, services, construction and consumer confidence contributed most to this improvement. In annual terms, the economic sentiment indicator rose by 13.2 points, but still remains 5.8 percentage points below the long-term average.
The sentiment in Slovak industry deteriorated in November following October's improvement. The confidence indicator in industry slumped 2 points, according to the Statistics Office which said this development was influenced by a decrease in demand for industrial goods.
