Slovak firms could participate in the construction of a gas pipeline connecting Iran and Europe, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Ahani said while visiting Bratislava.
At a meeting with the Slovak parliament's foreign committee chairman, Ján Figeľ, Ahani also offered Slovakia the possibility of trilateral cooperation in the recovery of post-war Iraq.
Ahani thanked Slovakia for its aid to the ancient Iranian city of Bam, which was struck by an earthquake on December 26.
