Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák stressed the need for Moldova to continue in reforms during talks held with the country's representatives on June 14, the SITA newswire reported. Moldova Prime Minister Vlad Filat and Foreign Affairs Minister Iurie Leanca held talks with foreign ministers of several European Union member states on the occasion of the EU ministerial meeting in Luxembourg.
“We assured our Moldovan partners that the EU, including Slovakia, supports their efforts in transformation of society coming closer to the EU, as well as in the reform steps it has been taking,” Lajčák told SITA. The ministers emphasized the need to preserve political stability in Moldova and keep the reform apace.
