Slovak government to allocate €11.73 million for bilateral development aid in 2011

Slovakia will contribute more than €65.5 million for official development aid (ODA) this year, the government agreed on January 26, the TASR newswire reported. Of this amount, more than €53 million will be contributions that Slovakia makes to various international organisations, including financial institutions.

Bilateral development aid projects are slated to receive €11.73 million this year, with projects in Kenya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Moldova, as well as collectively with countries in Western Balkans region and those grouped in the Eastern Partnership.
