A YOUNG Slovak man was killed in a fish-processing factory in the town of Plymouth, in the UK, on the evening of October 18.
The 22-year-old Slovak fell victim to an industrial accident after becoming trapped under a palette that fell on him, the TASR newswire reported, citing the topky.sk news portal.
The local police have launched an investigation into the case.
“The embassy in London has been informed about the case,” the Foreign Ministry reacted, as quoted by TASR. “Due to the protection of personal data it is not possible to provide any more details. The case is currently in the state of investigation, which is a standard proceeding for work injuries.”
