TWO Slovak professional soldiers in Iraq got drunk in violation of regulations and were sent home for their misbehavior.
Army spokesman Milan Vanga confirmed that Army Chief of Staff Ľubomír Bulík decided that they should immediately be withdrawn from service.
The men, a 37-year-old corporal from Martin and a 26-year-old lieutenant from Topoľčany, will probably also be discharged from the army without compensation.
Slovak mission members are not allowed to drink alcohol even in their free time, Vanga said.
