SLOVAKIA's dominant fixed-line operator Slovak Telekom (ST) will soon become a service provider for a technological innovation known as Triple Play.
The Council for Broadcasting and Retransmission (RVR) has registered retransmission for ST, which will enable it to provide television and radio programme services on Slovak territory, SITA wrote.
"Within its private cable networks, Slovak Telecom will be able to provide official television and radio programme services on the territory of Slovakia after settling a Sk20,000 administration fee," the company announced.
The Triple Play service will include broadband internet access, telephone calls via the internet and digital TV services.
